Jungle 21

09:25L I think Jungle 21 has just blasted out of Yeovilton? What a racket OTT Yeovil in the clag. Did an LN F-15 divert in here/there yesterday?

Suspect it's 2 aircraft. I could see one, but there was a lot of noise from further west.

JUNGLE21 is showing as the ADS-B callsign, so entirely possible the R/T callsign is something different. Currently showing as approaching Chivenor FL054, so looks like a low level mission. Initial squawk was 7001 which implies Yeovilton/Yeovil Radar is shut.

Oh - And QUID51 heading down the tacan.

Sorry, I'm confused. Are you saying that Jungle21 (flight) (or possibly Roar21 flight) was not F15's, or that it/they did not depart from Yeovilton?

Sorry for any confusion but no F15's departed from VL today, however 2 Sea Kings c/s Junglie 1 and Junglie 2 did and went down to CTCRM to pick up troops and fly them to Chivenor, this may have been the c/s that was heard at low level in the area
BobT
Ahh, Ok, But Jungle 21 was the call sign showing on SBS/ADSB against a flight of F-15's that were seen manoeuvring over Yeovil at very low level (1000 feet ish) this morning. Lots of people saw them - even my mum! Unusual to see them that low around here, and they weren't detected coming through the Westcott corridor as far as my SBS logs show. All in all, unusual.

Sorry to cause confusion , the thread title is where I got lost thinking that jungle referred to f15 then further along referring to sea kings . I wasn't very clear in my question so for that I can only say sorry I hope this response makes sense . I have great respect for everyone on this site and all of the locals and don't want to annoy anyone

I saw Two F15s fly over to the north of Taunton ( I heard them first :-) ) , they were on PP as Jungle 21 flight level 3500ft. I have seen them down this way quite a bit, normally high up and sometimes with a tanker in support. Jungle is a Lakenheath Callsign and quite a generic one by the looks of it, Quite a few F15 flights will show up as Jungle 21 on PP.
