Heard it! Sounded darn big and loud! Mother Fox says It had white flashing lights underneath "Like hazard lights". It was shortly accompanied by a low flying prop majigger possibly a king air? Also with white flashing lights!

Could the jet have been a Hawk as one came over Chippenham about 20 minutes ago

I heard this too - passed over Wells and heading EAST - it rumbled and rumbled on and on as it went - been some F15s in the region earlier today - maybe one ??

It might have been "MARHAM 13" ZD739 - which has been in the South West this evening.

Oh ok, just a suggestion, I agree with the last post, there was a Tornado in the SW Tonight.
