First thing I've seen out of the lockdown bedroom window so far this year at 08:30 this morning was...

ZZ100 Merlin for Norway, fully painted in white/dayglow orange c/s

Cheers

Finally, something interesting out the bedroom window that justified a visit to the fenceline...

(M-5??) Merlin. Faded Danish scheme, no visible serial

Faded olive drab scheme all over, and Danish style pointy nose. Small Danish squadron badge under cockpit, and yellow warning next to tail rotor with 'forin' words in it. No Yellow "RESCUE" markings.

Cheers

In addition to the Merlin reported on the 19th something equally strange was around this afternoon.

A Merlin in a drab scheme was around the West Dorset area. According to adsbexchange the flight code was DAP6314 and the hex was 000400. It was just passing overhead when I saw it, I was also a bit late to the window, so cannot provide any detailed marking information.

A search on adsbexchange for the hex code comes up with, basically, nothing. The most recent activity was on 6th May just north of Gallipoli, flight code MMI1622.

Any tie-up information / thoughts would be appreciated.

The Danish Merlin was visible again, this time in a more visible position, so another visit to the fenceline...

M-507 Merlin. Faded Danish scheme.

The engine covers and rotor head look freshly painted, but the rest of the aircraft is in a fairly shabby state.

And whilst I'm on about paintwork, ZZ100 was out yesterday evening, and it looks like it's had a fresh slap of paint on it. Wonder if it's going to be delivered?

Cheers

04-06

M-507 should be due out today. It's expected at Woensdrecht for a fuel stop around 1100z. Is anyone able to confirm if it has already departed, or still on the ground? At least nothing on ADS-B at the moment.

Edit: indeed transitted through Woensdrecht today on its way back home (Karup).
