I am on a 'Fishing expedition' so was hoping someone would suggest the CSG but I did think the Merlins would go to straight to Culdrose.

Cool

I didn't know there were any HC4 on CSG 21 as not seen any photos of them on twitter. But that does lend some credence to the CSG choppers theory

The HC4’s were on the RFA Fort Victoria for the deployment although they did depart Portsmouth on QE while Fort Victoria had repairs done to its refrigeration plant that caught fire while on JW/Strike Warrior before deploying.

Would anyone be able to confirm if this formation flight is still planned for tomorrow?

Many thanks, Robin.

Looks like it RobinM, Defender and Kent were off Weymouth an hour or so ago and Diamond is heading towards the Solent. Fort Victoria off Plymouth and Richmond should be at anchor now in Plymouth Sound. Martlet4, Shiner01 and Jenny51 (Wildcats) and Navy 41 (Merlin) showing on ADSB off Portland and Plymouth respectively. No sign of QE. Defender anchoring in Solent later.

Many thanks for the info. Amazing sight at Portland this afternoon with 5 Merlins and 2 Wildcats. Also a bonus was when 3 chinooks dropped in.
