Judwin,
Your supposition is correct. Merlin has been posting the serial together with the code (05) for some time now and 497CC0 matches with ZH584. Serial 19205 has been taped over leaving just the code uncovered.

Where on earth is 'Yeolventon'? Do you mean Yeovil or Yeovilton or both? :S

Maybe "ton" is the clue to this new members accidental typing error.
Unless of course you are just bored, or spell Yeovil as Yeovilton!

Popped by this afternoon, 23/06, there was a AW101 outside next to ZJ995, does anyone know which of the AW101's it was?

Bit of a non report, but a primer Merlin complete with tail and main rotors was towed to the main hangar at about 08:30. I couldn't see enough of it to read anything off from the bedroom window.

My routine 08:45L look over the fence - and nothing out.

Cheers

Good Morning all.
The time has come when we would traditionally start a new new thread which we do about every three months.
I guess this originates from the time when Westlands was much more active.
How do you feel about a longer thread, say covering each year.
Let me know what you think.
Best Wishes to all who contribute.

Keith

Hi Keith,
I think the longer thread idea is best. It has been about 7 months now, since we've seen a newbuild aircraft on the flight line.
Thanks, Freeman
