It's been painted in similar colours to G-LYNX but where it's going to fit in, on site I'm not sure we know yet. I hope it can be seen from outside when finally displayed.

A couple of us were chatting at the fence yesterday and trying to work out what else could be under the plastic other than ZH964. We didn't think it likely that they would bother to wrap a Wildcat for the short trip to Yeovilton, so thought ZD560 was the only other likely candidate. However, I checked Ben's list again this morning and note that ZD560 is destined for display at Yeovil.

Yes it did. I have a note of it in ETPS colours at Middle Wallop in July '88.

ZD560 has skids, so it certainly is not that. The profile of the wrapped Lynx certainly fits that of a Super Lynx, so unless ZH964 flies again before month ends one would assume this was her on departure.

A quick look over the fence here yesterday (17th) found Navy Wildcat ZZ518 being pushed back inside through the first hangar door on the left. There was one Norwegian inside in the background.

At the western end were Merlins ZH864 & ZH843 plus Wildcat ZZ519.

Visible on the ramp this morning :

0281 Merlin Mk612 for Norway. No rotor blades, and no UK serial applied. Noggie serial uncovered in the normal place

There is also a Red & White AW149/69 type, but I can't see enough of the serial. Pretty sure it's G dash though.

ADSB showing AW139 G-CLPG pinging from Yeovil to Lands End and a Google search shows it in a red and white scheme.
