Meteor at Lyneham

When the base was still in active service, I recall coming from Wootten Bassett on the A3102, and looking across the field at the roundabout where the Chippenham/Calne roads met to see a Meteor sat there in clear view, maybe 300 yards or more away. I recall it was there for some years but I never got around to Identifying it. Does anyone know its reg? Many thanks

Try WF825 Meteor T7, I saw it there several times in the early to mid 70,s, parked in the position that you saw it.

That's familiar - saw it many times myself. It was with 2491 Sqdn ATC at the time
