Did it actually land? Presumably no facilities of any kind in the event of problems and wondered whether the runway would be ok for that? Certainly did several approaches. Just wondering.

If they follow similar exercise as at Cottesmore, mainly the C-130s though, they make Khe San approaches, backtrack and also takeoff downwind.
It makes for a pleasant hour or so, particularly at night. Takes skill :thumbs:
