Possibly part of Exericse 'Wessex Storm'. I know Keevil is involved, could be related.
The helo's are part of Exercise Wessex Storm.
On TDY are 3x Chinook, 3x Wildcat, 2x Merlin & 4x Apache.
Great to see some flying at the old base again, though I think the Fremington residents are bored already of the 24hr/weekend sorties!! Haha
The C-47 also landed on Saunton Beach as part of the filming for a new adaption of "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" directed by Mike Newell of Four weddings & Harry Potter fame.
