Hope someone here can help or point me in the right direction.
I am trying to find out the serial on the Seaking Rescue 169 at RMB Chivenor on July 26th 2013.
I understand there were three Seakings there - ZH540 / 541 and 544
Does anyone know or can tell me how I can find out which was the duty Helo that day?
Specifically the Helo scrambled around 4.00 pm that afternoon?
many thanks in advance

There was a day by day diary held in the 22 A flt ops . This would give you the required info . BUT just where it went when we packed up I do not know . The 22 HQ was at Valley but that too has gone . A long shot is that it may be at the records office which I think is at or near Kew (?) west London . Another is the RAF Museum . There is a chance that it was destroyed along with many other items at the close . Another very long shot is the former OC Aflt from around this time , Olly Pendlebry , is at Bristows at St. Athan and he might be able to point you in the correct direction . Hope this is of some help . Chrisj

Can't find the serial, but this was what it was scrambled to, and typically the picture of the helicopter in the winch is no longer available.

Aye maybe going by the last three of his username, I also see he hasn't been back on since posting the original question so wasted my time trying to help him.
