Arrivals day No 1 (Thursday 7 Sept) consisted of the following:-

- 2 x Belgian F-16's
- 1 x Chipmunk
- 1 x RAF Tornado

The display F-16 went through its sequence and both departed again later in the day.

And that was it! So for those who couldn't be there , you saved yourselves a fiver plus travelling costs. :S

Thanks for keeping me honest. I neglected to say that I left the viewing area at 15.45, so I missed that one. :thumb:

Going on Saturday but cannot get miffed about this since the 135 is seen regularly over my area from Europe and Mildenhall. Could get miffed if the USAF displays a bomber on the Sunday though!

They have only flown on Ample Strike missions so far. No activity on exercise last weekend. If same, not flying.

I think he means on the printed programme as a sponsor, just as RIAT do.

Come to think of it, I think the WAVE still has a board up saying sponsored/with thanks to Northrop Grumman?

I notice we are one A400 down according to the Scampton list - perhaps it has had to be diverted for hurricane relief.

Latest weather forecast suggests that Sunday is the driest with showers on Saturday.
