Newquay 02dec2019

Post by 860SQN » Mon Dec 02, 2019 1:21 pm

Hello All,

Seen dismorning at Cobham Helicopter Acedemy:

ZJ246/46 and ZJ248/48 Squirrel HT2.
ZJ240 and ZJ242 and one unidentified (black/yellow) Griffin HT1.

Visiting Newquay airport:
ZJ164 AS365N2 FOST

Any help with the unidentified (black/yellow) Griffin HT1 is appreciated.

Best Regards,

Harry

I thought there were only two Griffins at Newquay?

Perhaps you saw the AW139 ZR283?

Hum. That's also possible. Didn't have a good view. Thanks.

Cobham also have ZJ707 / G-CBUB on the books, last noted at Bournemouth, could possibly have moved to Newquay.

Just checked and G-CBUB was returned to mil register as ZJ707 in September so no doubt operating out of Newquay now as well.
