Has anybody any information about an Osprey seen over Goss Moor heading towards Newquay / St Mawgan at 17:30?

Came from Prestwick. There's threads in the Prestwick forum, and in the OUTLAW11/12 topic in the UK heads up forum, and in the photography section.

I left the airport around 30 mins ago and it was still visible near aerohub with covers over the cockpit glazing. No personnel visible so can’t see it moving any time soon.

Don’t know whether it’s coincidence but there is a USMC KC-130J coming down the west coast of wales at 21k ft. Maybe heading here as support for the Osprey if it has gone tech?

That is the C130 that collected the MV22s from Prestwick the other day.

So there’s a chance it may join this one at Newquay?

Don't know. The C130 looks more like it's heading for Moron, which is where the MV22s are going.

Evening, I can find details of the aero hub, but wonder if you can get a picture of the CV22 and support.
Cheers Rob

Photography no problem from there. KC-130 has now departed though.

Flight crew appear to be boarding now. Cockpit covers still on though but I’d imagine they’re departing soon.

Edit 14:00 - cockpit covers now off, all equipment loaded on board and saying bye to airfield crew.
