Lots of activity here today and the hangar doors were wide open. Noted were:-
Squirrel ZJ242 & Griffin ZJ240 on the flightline. In the hangar were ZJ248, ZJ252 & ZJ246 plus ZR325 & ZR324. Griffin G-CBUB (ZJ707) was seen as were another black and yellow example and a grey rotorless one with roundels.
Any help with identifying the two anonymous examples would be appreciated.

ZJ704 is your grey one. I'd assume but can't confirm that ZJ242 was your DHFS aircraft.
ZJ240 is a Griffin, not a Squirrel.

Hi Guys
Saw 240 and 242 whilst on the beach at Mawgan Porth last Friday. Which is the Cobham hangar and Is there anyway of getting close to view these airframes?
Best

Go to the Aerohub signed off the A3059 road, Newquay side of the air ambulance HQ. It is clearly visible on google maps.
Keep going until the end of the road past the old nimrod hangar and the hangar will be in front of you. It can be rather hit and miss on what you will see or not.
The hangar used to be home to SARTU, later renamed 203(R) squadron, when it moved from Culdrose. One of the early Sikorsky SH-3D examples on the UK military register used to be in there although not sure what has happened to it recently.
