Spitfire Corner
I was down in Cornwall last week and as I drove towards Spitfire Corner, there appeared to be what looked like a Canberra fuselage tucked away to the right of the Spitfire, between the house and the fence. Unfortunately as I was working I didn't have time to stop so can anyone shed any light on the reg of the Canberra please? Thank you

Re: Spitfire Corner
The Canberra nose is in fact from Canberra B.2 WD954, I first saw this there in September 2004, as for WT525 this is a T.22 and is totally different from a B.2 nose, I believe that WT525 may be in the HAS used by Newquay College at Newquay Airport.
As for the rest of WD954 it was fitted with a new nose and went to Australia as a T.4, I have a report of the nose section still OK with the South Australian Aviation Museum at Port Adelaide during 3-19.
Hope it helps,
Rob

Re: Spitfire Corner
My apologies, Freebird has '525 as being at Spitfire Corner.
