USAF C-17 70046 landed just before 5p.m. due to unknown problem but believe this is first time for a USAF example at St. Mawgan.

From a social media source I’m led to believe that Smoke coming out of a fan inside the aircraft was the apparent cause.

C-17 took off from Newquay at 1530 this afternoon and routed towards Lands End initially. Perhaps to join airways.
