Whenever I've been to Aviano I've never seen a pilot come out of the base to sell something of their Squadron, you are really lucky there in Lakenheath.

What sort of prices were they offering and what time were they selling if you don’t mind me asking?

Cheers

They were there in the afternoon when I saw them. Caps £25 , t shirts £25 and patches £10.00 each or three for £25. Small pencil patches were cheaper but I didn't see the prices.
The patches were squadron and also deployment patches to Morocco, exercise African
lion earlier this year. I always like to get them if I can from the squadrons. Hope this helps.

Not sure if they'll be coming out again. They got moved on by MOD police yesterday as they didn't have the required permit to trade!

Makes you wonder if they checked it was ok with Base Command who should have in turn alerted the local police.

The latest rumour is that Jerry from Big Jet TV was the one that informed the police about them. The key word being rumour but nothing would surprise me!
