Hi guys and girls what i saw though riat was a fair show i traveled up with my best mate and carer blackaces41 a fair run but like us all we love riat we came up for the 3 show days but due to felling unwell i had to come home early saterday afternoon so missed rest of saterday and sunday can anyone tell me please if the red and white f16 german tornado /typhoon and mig 21s were selling patches as i missed there stalls conpletly thanks for the help spose its an ebay job with postage that kills yer lol like the harrier riat patch ...

The Danes came out to sell fairly late on Saturday. They had decent selection of stuff and cheap! Shame the PVC patch for the special schemed F-16 wasn't available (worn by at least two crew members). The Romanians were selling down near the pit-stop in the Red Zone for the morning. Then moving there table up to and next the Belgian display team. The Germans Tornado guys were about 3-4 tables down the line from the Belgians.

The Danes sold out of their PVC patch very early Saturday, nice patch as well.

They still had some Saturday evening after the flying display for £4 if we are talking about the 727 Sqn patch with the Danish flag? The one ashamim has posted in the third photo?

Thanks ashamim thats a good haul pretty penny too there really nice very jelious i got some of em some from yeovilton the week before i did manage theu my best friend to obtain a 2014 raf typhoon d day patch missed em then due to illness only took 5 years lol but i must say a big thank you to my best mate and carer blackaces 41 as airshows would be impossable without him and thanks again ashamim pics are great

The 4£ Danish Patch is the pvc with the hammer and the F-16. The one referred to above is the round pvc with the red and white special scheme on it and the 800 number. They had some on their shoulders but none for sale. But they should have some for sale soon.

Great haul Ashamim - how did you manage to get the Belgian Darth Vader patch - they told me that this wasn't available

Vador sold them on the display stand for 2 hours Friday afternoon as he couldn't display

The weather was not good enough to fly this morning but the good news is :if you are at The Royal International Air Tattoo : during the next two hours we will be selling exclusively here at our Belgian Demo team tent those very limited edition patches !

Gary is correct. However they sold out that day in 25 min so they didn’t last 2 hours! And then they did the same on Saturday when they only had 11 of them left.

Todd and Gary are spot on. I heard from the guy running the stand that there was a possibility of small handful for sale on Saturday afternoon. I just hung about a bit before the time and managed to snag one. Some of the 2018 design were seen as well which I’d have like to have gotten.

I was expecting that to happen!

This was my RIAT haul. It wasn’t the best show for displays but it was good for the variety of patches on offer. Prices were definitely more than previous years for most stalls. There were some exceptions. The Danish were reseasonable as were the AWACS. But the Lakenheath guys as noted earlier had very high prices on the Friday but they dropped over the weekend. And were more reasonable on the Sunday. The Romanians and the Spanish Harrier patches were high on my list. And the Belgian Vador 2019 was just pure luck on the Friday that I happened by their stall for a second visit. Anyway it was a good show. And it was good to meet up with old friends as well.
