The Mildenhall Military Insignia Collectors Club (MMICC) will be hosting it's 3rd Patch Meet of the 2018 season on Saturday, 22nd September from 11:00 to 13:00 hours and all are welcome to attend:

CLUB MEETING DATES 2018:

As always the Meets are primarily centered around USAF/USAFE patches primarily but also include a fine selection of USN, USMC, RAF and other Air Forces around the World plus other military aviation related memorabilia.

Why not come along and have a look, you might just be able to fill a few 'really need' gaps in your patch collection.

The Club continues to exist & flourish thanks to the efforts of it's founder and it's dedicated, core band of members, if you'd like to become a member to, Membership Forms and details will be available from Mr Ian Warner at the Meet.

Was hoping to attend this one but I'll be at Duxford. Hope it's a success.

I'm the same as MRRT... I will be at Duxford show.

Many thanks indeed... it`s a shame both events fell on the same day... but I will definitely be at the December meet with my stall and a good selection of patches to trade with the guys.

would there be any demand for original 81TFS and 1Sqn nato E3 patches ?

I will be there with my usual stock of Booster Club merchandise direct from the 67th Special Operations Squadron (including new stock produced for RIAT 2018).

I will also be selling Booster Club merchandise on behalf of the 56th Rescue Squadron. I have limited numbers of the following:

Hoping to attend this one. Are any Lakenheath units going to be in attendance with their items for sale?

I'm sorry to say but like a few others have said above I will not be attending the patch meet this weekend. I will be taking my father in law to the Battle of Britain Airshow at Duxford. I think the LN squadrons will probably be at the airshow as well. I could be wrong but just a thought.

The LN Sqns have been at the September Air Show at Duxford for the last couple of years. From memory located at the front of the American Air Museum.
That's not to say they will be there this though

Yes I'm aware of that. I have seen them there before. But its not a concern for me. I'm going for the show mostly.

A really good meeting today. Great to see so many people and squadrons selling patches (493 FS, 493 AMU, 67 SOS 56 RQS), I'd say most people got something they were after, and if not there was a few guys who were experts who could help people out with the intricacies of patch collecting. Pity it clashed with Duxford but that was the only day the hall was free, so it was that day or nothing. I for one am glad it took place, and fully applaud the organisation of such an event. There aren't any other events (that I know of) that take place in the counrty which allow collectors to get together to talk shop, trade and buy patches. LONG may it continue.

We would have loved to come over but unfortunately we were unable.
Anyone has got some spare '493' patches that he or she would trade with me ?
