£150 is a lot of money, no matter how nice they look

Cost/Value aside, they look a bit 'Tacky' to me!
But....I've never been a Coin collector, especially since my kid brother borrowed the One Penny & Halfpenny from my Coronation Set until his pocket money arrived!

They are a really nice set.
Tbh it’s the signatures that command the price as how often will you get a collection of 6 former pilots.

And the coins are really well done too.

I ordered mine on Sunday and it arrived today....speedy,prompt delivery and great service on a very nice set of coins. Very well presented in the case along with the signatures of six notable pilots . Items like this do not appear very often and adds to any collection of SR-71 memorabilia. Great stuff !!!

I'd agree, it's a fantastic item if you have an SR-71 collection, or are heavily interested in the type, etc. My interest is somewhat more passing, the coin itself is lovely, but well out of my price range

I never knew stuff like this even existed! something new for me but why are they called coins? They clearly have no monetary value, I.e £2 or £5 or £10. Would someone care to enlighten me?

Okay, I get it, sort of, they are rounds that commemorate something, a bit like the Olympic 50ps or the RAF 100 2 pound coin thats coming out sometime this year, theres some interesting ones on that web site.
