Hello all,

I thought I'd share my patch collection with you. I only started this year, with the exception of the 492nd Strike Eagle patch I bought an age ago at Waddington. All bought from crews with the exception of the Gulf War and legacy patches. The 75th 492nd and Desert 494th Strike Eagle patch were bought at Duxford this weekend.

The older RAF patches are my fathers, which I have included. I love the history that each patch comes with, and the sense of humour that some exhibit. :D

First up my fathers collection.

Very nice selection mate :thumb: Couldn't make Duxford, did both 492nd FS & 494th FS have stalls or was it combined? How much were they selling patches for? Will have to keep my eye out for the 75th anniversary patch

They had a combined stall near the control tower, and textile patches were £10, Rubber Patches £15 and Challenge coins £15. I could have walked away with more, but I limited myself with them at 10 quid.

I am enjoying collecting them, and the Lakenheath and Mildenhall guys are always great to chat too. :thumb:
