A few from 'Triple Nickel' on their deployment for Cobra Warrior.

Triple Nickel are the 555th FS, the 510th are not present (although a couple of their jets have been borrowed)

Yes the 555th are deployed and they have 'borrowed' some of the 510th aircraft. But they also have 510th flight crew participating too. As these patches were obtained from a 510th pilot.

The 510th with the Patience My **** statement is intriguing in that a patch with a similar sentiment was about in 1991 for an AC130 gunship
I am not into patches so have no idea if this has been used many times by many units

I believe the 510tfs in the days of the A-10 had a similar patch.

You are correct, the statement comes from a popular T-shirt and poster from the 1970s that featured two hungry looking buzzards sitting in a tree. Which is why the 510th have adopted it as they are called the Buzzards. But the design has been used by many different units over the years. A bit similar to the 'Let's Roll' patch/sticker which appeared on many different aircraft during the Afghanistan War.
