Sadly the hobby has become a joke, ebay has killed it with everyone cashing in, most stuff from producers is now always described "limited" & "rare", and the squadrons are becoming greedy, take the Yanks at RIAT for example with their £40-£50 a patch! These things cost £3 or less to make, so I limit what I collect now and keep my hard earned cash in the wallet!

I see Squadron Prints are now offering this patch now..
So what's the difference apart from no velcro on the Terrane one and £4.49 price difference?

Squadron Prints where the ones who designed that patch and provided it to the Squadron for the Op, it was shown in one of the photos on the RAF news page:

I am struggling to find a photo where the terrane one was used.

Perhaps I should answer - Squadron Prints designed this badge with the input of many people who were to be involved with the pre-deployment build up for Op Azotize. The order was agreed and supplied in time for the advance party going out. As per other badges, we do not release the excess exercise or deployment patches until the event is over. After discussions with OC XI(F) Squadron we agreed that the remainder of the patches could be released today in line with the press release announcing that the deployment was over.

It's always best to hear from the horses mouth rather than generate or buy into idle speculation!!!!

Well, I now have both versions and the Squadron Prints version is superior by a long chalk.
