Awesome Sunset Arrival; US Army Blackhawk & Chinook, 1st Infantry Division

Post by redskin301 » Fri Nov 26, 2021 2:08 pm

Many American US Army helicopters are on the move during the Operation Atlantic Resolve. This time the 1st Infantry Division is moving via the Netherlands to the harbor in Vlissingen. The division is moving home to the United States after a period of 9 months in Europe. The helicopters are moving via Gilze-Rijen Air Base to the harbor of Vlissingen. In total around 60 American helicopters wills stay for a short period at this airfield of the Royal Netherlands Air Force. The RNLAF is giving Host Nation Support to the United States and provides the Dutch infrastructure for the division movement. In this video a total of six UH-60 and HH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and six CH-47F Chinook Helicopters arrive at Gilze-Rijen. The helicopters are parked at the south side of the airfield at the Runway 02 and the taxi track to west of this runway. Enjoy this extraordinary sight on these helicopters which arrived during the golden hour of the day. This was really an awesome sunset arrival at my home base!
