Thank you for your kind compliment. The bell ringing you hear comes from a traffic light with bell. This is located on the airbase exactly opposite the spotters spot along a road at the airbase. When there are indeed activities on the runway it will go red and the bell will ring to stop the vehicle traffic so they don't cross the runway.
