Both F-35 Joint strike Fighters did a steep climb take-off as a rehersal for the upcoming airdays at Leeuwarden AB.

I wonder why they both turned the burner off just after take off, then plugged it again ?

Why did they use full burner then turn it off then the plane sinks then thry wack it back to full.
why not dry power take off get in the air then wack on the burners.
