Anyone got any dates for smaller aviation events, such as Families days, flypasts etc?

I'd like to make the Air Show listing as comprehensive and accurate as possible.

Please list events with Military / Warbird participation only.

There is a BBMF Spitfire display due at "Northwich Thunder sprint" (Cheshire) on Sunday May 9th at either 1.15pm or 1.25pm (I have heard two different times so be there for the earlier one and you're sure to see it )

June 13th Bentwaters Airshow and August 1st Bentwaters Cold War Museum Open Day (no flying on this one)

We will probably have an update on the June show as well once more info arises, and also Carolyn Graces site will be good for this as well. But the this airshow is not run by us this year as it has got too big!

27th June - Whitehaven Festival, Cumbria. Veterans parade with RAF displays tbc.

Main airshows thread updated today. Still interested in the smaller shows where military or ex-military aircraft may attend.

Remember the smaller events are often better for photography providing that unique shot / angle.

The inclusions have dried up?

16th August 2010, Aldeburgh carnival, Sea King from Wattisham demonstration with the Aldeburgh Lifeboat

I did some shots last year and a better photographer than me would get some blinders!

One of the Apache squadrons at Wattisham has the freedom of Aldeburgh and does a flypast once a year, but I have no idea of date!
Thats all I can think of for now Goose but im sure some guys out there with PPLs know of fly-ins which usually have an ex-mil Plane amongst there number?

Hope its ok to post this as its not strictly an airshow but Wickenby wings and wheels is 19th and 20th June, Normally get a flypast from the red arrows and a spitfire. Also there is a fly-in of civilian planes but you do get the odd ex-mil lplanes ike the chipmunk for example.

Henham Wings and Wheels is on May 9th 2010, some ex mil there I believe, this is near Halesworth in Suffolk
