Stop Press, Northwich Thundersprint !!

This Sunday (8th) Northwich town center 13.20 hrs BBMF Spitfire solo display. Hope he gets his barings right this year and comes in a bit closer than last year !!
1st year I attended (2008) I didn't have a decent camera/lens
2nd year I attended (2009) Canon 400d / 300mm zoom, and I had knocked the settings off so that when I got home I was left with a white screen.
3rd year I attended (2010) Canon 40 D / 100-400mm IS usm, all settings correct for the conditions, and he did his display in the wrong place and the weather was pants (Still got a couple of good shots though)
This year, Canon 40D 100-400mm IS usm , all settings correct, sun is shining , I'm there in plenty of time, and it gets ruddy cancelled !!!! (Cross winds at CBY apparently)
One day it'll all come together !!
