Northolt Nightshoot IX 26/05/11 - Update 4

[Northolt Nobbler]

After an enforced lull in proceedings, the date for the next nightshoot has been set for 26 May 2011.

If you have attended any previous events, you will still be on Phil's list, for those who wish to break their duck, then send an email to phillip.dawe@btinternet.com.

Nothing is confirmed to attend, but Phil is working on the US Navy for something from the George Bush which will be in the area. Having previously confirmed their attendance for the cancelled event, we are checking if the Securite Civile can still send over one of their Trackers. Although Obama will be in town on this date, we are not planning for any of his helos to be on the tarmac.

Any updates, I'll stick them on here.

Also, the previously mentioned Belgian A109 will be in casevac fit with bulged doors and red cross stickers.

Next on the planned attendance list:

French Air Force Alpha Jet from Tours.

Phil still working on some 'home team' aircraft from the Army and RAF.

Also, please be aware that the hoped for appearance of a Securite Civile Tracker WILL NOT happen as they will be completing their training for the forthcoming firefighting season. They have, however, said that October should be good to go.
