You’re not get any mil helos on static be Lucky to get two like last year as I attended. Sadly the show is a former shadow of its original self. Last time any mil helos attended Helitech was the 2009 and 2011 when it was held at Duxford. Do not believe any of the adverting from Helitech.colt99 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 6:31 pmSee this for the Excel centre in London.

I work in the helicopter industry and been attending every one since Redhill 99 (last one held there before it moved to IWM), then 2013 it was held at Excel (much to the disapproval of many of the industry because of its location and limited amount of a/c), then it was held at even years in Amsterdam (first one in 2014 with only 4 x a/c!) so it went like this
2013 London Excel
2014 RAi Amsterdam
2015 London Excel
2016 Rai Amsterdam
2017 London Excel
2018 Rai Amsterdam
2019 Farnborough
2019 crap only handful of a/c only thing mil wise was UK SAR AW189 from St Athan.
Cheers

I was there on 7 Sep and main item of interest was a retired Lynx HMA.8 ZF562 (still wearing /353-MB of Mounts Bay Flt), indoors in Hall S10 on the Hayward & Green stand.
There were no fly-ins this year, apparently due to adjacent works near the East Terrace. Maybe next year ?
