Following an extensive Traffic Management Review, RAF Leuchars Airshow has adopted a new car parking strategy for 2010.

In collaboration with Fife Constabulary, Fife Council and Traffic Scotland, they have devised a system whereby the majority of parking will be in three Park & Ride sites.

A limited number of parking spaces and disabled parking will be available on base.

Entry to RAF Leuchars Airshow without relevant passes WILL NOT be permissible and will result in redirection to a Park & Ride site and could result in considerable delays.

A big bumpety bump, as the arrangements are so different from last year.

Whatever Leuchars do, someone will complain.

"Took me ages to get in - get out!"

"Couldn't park on base!"

"Couldn't take the dog in!"

"I had to walk 50 metres!"

"It rained!"

You can just predict the moans...............
