Heavy rain is now forecast especially over the time the runs will be taking place. What are the possibilities of the event getting cancelled? I'm travelling up from Portsmouth and don't want to get up there and find it has been.

The really „ Heavy“ rainfall is predigten to start between 2-3 pm. Maybe some modification on the
scedule, bringing the highlights on after the VC on 11 am, would result in some joy on an „ difficult“ day

Bumped into some folk at Mildenhall who went on Sunday.

Said it was a great day and the lightning was VERY loud

It happens every year on the end of May and August Bank Holiday weekends, on the Sunday. The Lightnings normally have a twilight run in the November but not sure if that is happening this year, maybe someone could advise accordingly.

I recommend this event, it's great and you're really close to the action!!

I attended this for the first ever time and I was simply blown away by the event. Even though it was a complete washout is was simply amazing and highly recommended! I can't wait for the twilight runs.
