Hi , does anyone know if we can view the aircraft at close quarters tomorrow or is it just viewing from the outfield banking ?

Just from the outfield unless you're an invited guest.

Didn't the white section happen? When the red section came over Malmesbury there were only 6 aircraft.

SM520 and PV202 returned to Goodwood as White 1 and 2, respectively. I believe they split off at some point to fly White's route.
The loss of a few aircraft caused issues with planning so they elected to put bigger formations up, rather than have one or two aircraft on a route. Whether that was a good idea or not? I'll let you decide!

Did anyone ID the RAF Harvard that was parked with the GA aircraft, please?

Thanks EGVP for the excellent tie up. Now I don't suppose by any chance anyone would have a tie up of who was flying each of these aircraft?
Many thanks,
Gary

Hi , after a very enjoyable and emotional day at Goodwood I arrived home to watch it on C4 . This could and should have been a very good TV moment ruined by the childish Dermot 'O'Dreary . Surely there are many far more interesting and knowledgeable presenters than him ? Also , can any one tell me why we had a Mustang flying in a Battle of Britain Celebration ?

Couldn't agree more with respect to the dreadful presenting on the Return of the Spitfires programme!
Think the Mustang was one of the camera ships (or perhaps also a fill in for one of the broken aircraft?)

Why were there so many later mark Spitfires and Hurricanes - as well as Canadian Hurricanes of all things! - taking part too?
What a daft question to ask.

Thanks for your reply to my daft question with your ever dafter answer . If you can't give a sensible answer to a question then don't bother replying . This is supposed to be a friendly forum but have noticed that lately its getting damn sarcastic at times
