AAC displays

"The AAC Blue Eagles Display Team are to be put in abeyance for the forthcoming 2010 season.

It has been directed by the Director of Army Aviation, Brigadier David Short, that, where practicable, the AAC Blue Eagles will support events in 2010 with ‘role demonstrations’ and/or static displays."

Any news on any Role demos? Seems Waddington will get a static Apache (as well as the historic flight).

The latest I have heard is that while crews are remaining current in order to allow them to do this that, in reality it is unlikely we will see any Apache demos.

Not impossible, but very unlikely and anything we do get would be a real bonus.

Cheers
