If you are going to Swindon on the Friday evening, I would suggest you could take a look at RAF Lyneham, it's only about 20-30 minutes away.
For the Tuesday you could maybe pay short visit to RAF Benson (near Oxford) should be some Puma and Merlin flying and it's got some good spots for pictures.
Alternatively, there is Boscombe Down and Middle Wallop, also not too far from Swindon. I wouldn't go to any of these on a Sunday (apart from Lyneham) as chances of seeing anything are virtually nil.
