There was never another due, although some think it was! Only fly through on Saturday being one from Fairford.

ZK380 arrived as Typhoon 45 approx 1625L. Chosen 21flt (F15Cs) made a trails approach not long afterwards but didnt land. Chosen 21 was 86-156 and 22 was 86-174

What forecast are you using as bbc only showing wind to be low 20's at its strongest

Ok met office is giving mean speeds at 21mph with gusts upto 38mph (approx 33kts)
Aslong as its not to much of a crosswind it should hopefully be ok.

Dont know where the 60mph for Leuchars is coming from

Iain where did I say two B52s arriving.I asked the question at start of week as no one seemed to know but never stated there was two coming. Anyway got weather from that good old channel BBC should learn my lesson never trust that channel. Just a slight breeze here this morning.
