English Riviera Airshow

Post by Sparky 119 » Sun Jun 02, 2024 11:25 am

Would anybody have a log for the display aircraft that flew please, I have seen a log from Exeter but just want to tie things up. No need to include the Red Arrows.

Hi Sparky119.
This is my log for Saturday in display order: -

G-CBUI / XT420 Wasp HAS.1
N69745 / '42-46703' (FK877) Stinson V-77 Reliant
(serial unknown) Wildcat (Hex: 43FF5E) callsign 'BLACK01' from / to yeovilton
XZ597 / G-SKNG Sea King HAR.3
G-NWHF (G-BSBG) / '28562' (Portugal 1753) T-6J Texan
G-CBEL / SR661 Hawker Fury FB.11
ZJ913 Typhoon FGR.4
99+18 (G-ONAA) OV-10B Bronco
G-BPIV / 'L6739' (Bollingbroke) Blenheim Mk.1
G-BIXL / 44-72216 P-51D Mustang
G-PRXI / PL983 Spitfire PR.11
G-JPIT Pitts S.2E Special
Sorry to everyone but much of the display craft were civil.

It should be noted that both Typhoons ZJ913 and ZJ917 did a short 'prior display' around Paignton on Friday afternoon 31/5/24 before positioning at Exeter.

Hope that helps dear fellow :thumb:
Best regards, Terry

That’s cracking, thank you very much, as I came down on a railway special I didn’t have anything other than my camera with a standard lens so not very well prepared.👍

The Wildcat was ZZ517, was noted at Exeter and was about the only picture I got to confirm.

Thanks for the Wildcat, not needed but always nice to know :thumb:
I am currently recovering from hospital surgery and so I saw the display from my conservatory as I am today.
It's a pity some of the aircraft were cancelled but I am enjoying it nevertheless as I hope you and the many others are/did too
Best regards, Terry

Hi Wayne
Sorry mate, I didn't bother to pole off any of them.
