Word on UKAR is that the special is tech in France but two grey ones are coming.
Afraid that word was from some random poster who posted without a source. No source = don't believe.

Shame its cancelled.

Coming from the French crews on the ground at Hawarden they are really gutted, it is a real shame for Cosford and the crowds, but there are plenty more great acts to see. The organising teams work so hard but serviceability will always be a stumbling block for all airshows. No doubt the Polish F16 and Typhoon display will knock it out the park for you all

It's a shame about the Rafale, but on a brighter note, the F-16, Swiss and Black Cats put on a great show today. I'm still very much looking forward to Sunday!

Absolutely gutted about the Rafale. 2 years running it has pulled out.

I feel sorry for the team at Cosford who will undoubtedly be the most disappointed. Fingers crossed that the RSD make it their priority to come back next year, and make sure they turn up earlier in the week.

Gutted for those attending on Sunday, but the Polish F16 and Typhoon will be a great Fast Jet Fix.
If you are going, watch the Swiss PC7 Team. Magnificent from Start to Finish!

Another surprise announcement at 8pm. Think they might have dropped the ball already on this one though

As suspected F-35B flypast confirmed. Can't help but wonder if that would have been announced had today's leak/cancellation not happened...

Yes it was always planned along with the now cancelled Rafale display later at 4pm

Let's just hope that the power's that be see sense and get it primed for a role demo and not just a flypast  after all there's some slots that need filling. . . .

I meant was it always going to be announced, instead of being a surprise on the day.

Polish said yesterday that they probably will not go again today as the weather looks bad.

I suspect they are far too busy with time to do a Role demo

128.655 is the general display frequency and has been used for the validations/arrivals so far.

The RAT is controlled by Shawbury on 133.155/339.925 amd Cosford Approach is also on use on 135.880

Which, given Cosford's usual traffic issues, sort of defeats the object really
