Just heard that RIAT (in July) has been cancelled. I expect we will sadly see Cosford cancel in due course along with other shows.

Hoping for a September / October 2020 so we still get one decent air show this year although I fear you’re correct.

Anyone having issues getting a refund or changing their ticket? It said on the email there is a live chat, however when I go to the page linked in email, it doesn't give a live chat option. Just generic options and when you click my event has been cancelled it doesn't give you any further options :/

Keep trying, it took me several attempts at pressing different buttons, eventually got a box to type in. I requested a refund and sent. Have had a generic reply saying my request has been received and they will respond to it within 28 days. So hopefully I've done it correctly.

I agree, it's not a very user friendly set up.

Am I correct in thinking ? ...

That if you want the next show option or roll over to the 2021 show option... in other words option B or C... you do not to need to do anything as you will automatically be rolled over to which ever show comes first.

That's how I understand the email that I have received.

Regards.

Thanks, got it eventually, had to click something like 'general inquiry'

And I think you need to let them know what option you want in the submission form. But I am not quite sure.

Would say that people worried on refunds etc, it would be wise and understandable to be patient .
Remember that most of the UK is stuck in home,
and the small team that run this airshow are not key workers. Yes there may be one trying to work from home. That must be a challenge at this time and for the next month.

For the record - I have received my refund of £28 paid into my bank account, from which the purchase was made. All good.

Got mine too yesterday for £70. Would have liked to have rolled it over to the next show, but with no dates known I decided for a refund.

Just appeared on Facebook, inevitable really.
Following the earlier announcement to postpone the 2020 RAF Cosford Air Show (Official) until September, the difficult decision has now been taken to cancel it for this year.

The decision to cancel has not been taken lightly. The Royal Air Force relies on support from international air forces and assistance from local civilian services, our commercial sponsors and volunteers to stage the Cosford Air Show.

The RAF is also indebted to the general public, who attend in their tens of thousands every year.
