That's quite interesting, Paul. Would it be the first Danish Merlin to visit CU?

Just a quick update to this. The Merlin is due in early afternoon on Monday and due out 09:00 on Wednesday. It's operating with 829 Sqd on Tuesday but will be hangared in 814s (next to the viewing enclosure). All weather permitting !!

Nice pics Malf, I'm glad someone was there to catch it.
I have to say the Danish Merlins looked nicer with yellow rescue markings.

Gosh, thank you all so much for the comments, most kind of you all!
I agree, without the yellow markings,It could so easily be mistaken for a Mk.3A

I don't suppose you were in the red car earlier Malf?

I was the schoolboy with a drainpipe sticking out of his eye over by the Renault
Did note a Cobham King Air in today, G-FPLD by the look of it from my pic.

Hi Paul, Malf, Kyle and everyone!!
That's an interesting bit of info - would be good to see this one flying around for a day or so before it departs northeastwards!
Malf - smashing pics mate - you were definitely in the right place at the right time once again!! --Paul

Heard it departing this morning on the box,but not a hope in he'll of seeing it from Penzance!!
Thanks for the heads up anyway Paul
