Also heard about this today - very, very sad news - lovely guy was Geoff & fellow ex-metman to boot.

I only met Geoff a couple of times but he was a true Gentleman.

Never met him, but hoped to get an opportunity to thank him personally for all the generous help he has given me with FRADU imagery, both on the existing and proposed sites.

Helston is pretty much defined by Flora Day and RNAS Culdrose - I very much associate Geoff with both and am glad I have a copy of his book.

Good to see you this morning although not under the best circumstances .
Glad you got back ok . It was great to see such a great attendance . Geoff was highly thought of and it showed by the the number of atendees . The navy did him proud and the 771sqn flypast was a fitting tribute .

I understand even the Captain of Culdrose attended which says it all really... RIP Geoff.
