Mass Flypast at Culdrose

Just seen a flypast at Culdrose of:
6 x Merlin
2 x Sea King
4 x Hawk
1 x King Air
That was just after a Wildcat dropped in
All filmed from the RN Dauphin
Anyone know the occasion please?

Until next Thursday, fliers at Culdrose are squeezing in more than 600 hours of fast jet, turbo-prop and whirlybird action as the Fleet Air Arm's Cornish air station pretends it's a living, breathing and fighting aircraft carrier.
Exercise Kernow - Cornish for 'Cornwall' - Flag turns the Lizard peninsula base into fictional flat-top HMS Seahawk.
The base - which has billed itself as 'HMS Queen Elizabeth on land' in preparation for the new carrier entering service - is taking that concept to the next level.
In true gunboat diplomacy style, the carrier has been sent in to help the people of Redruvia, threatened by its tubthumping neighbour Camberland.

Hi all,
It was really nice to hear about this live exercise occurring at Culdrose.
I first spotted on the Falmouth Packet website and immediately thought 'it will be good
to perhaps see a load of flying this week'. Well, I was not too disappointed!
There have been a number of Merlins around this area, including a couple of very
low flying ones at around 500ft. I also spotted an AEW Sea King to the north of here
a couple of days ago. Also a few hawks and one King Air.
This is probably the most flying seen here for a very long time!
Let's hope that the same goes for next week as well!

Anyone know if the two Dutch NH90s that routed through Benson last Thursday involved in the exercise?

Not sure participation-wise but unless one has gone home then there are now 3 NH-90s there as N-326 stopped here at Bournemouth yesterday en route Culdrose
