Don't even dream driving out there on the day, Dave. I have a gut feeling it will be heaving this year.

Will certainly be either at the viewing area or the lay-bys on the road on the day before, will have to see what other days I can make it in.

I got the 3 days of Dave so see you out there. Plan is (depending on which end there landing at.) To catch any earlier arrivals before going on camp for the afternoon.
Walk out there on the day. And as stated can then have a wee little one!

in the mess tent. Then back out for departures Friday morning.

Splendid news old boy. I knew you wouldn't let the tradition die easy! So a convivial afternoon beckons!

I hope to see you all next week. I'm intending to come down for the media day on the Wednesday and air day. Mark (Centaurus18) will also be around.
I will be attending with my better half IF, I can find somewhere to stay.
Looks to be a really good show this year.

Now that we're getting into CU AirDay week I guess we need to be hanging out the seaweed to see if the weather is going to play ball this year.
What's the odds on this current spell of fine weather coming to an abrupt end on Wed. afternoon

(btw I've not seen the forecast yet )

It's not looking to bad Mike.

Should be on 30 for arrivals , airday and departures.
Cloud base might limit some of the displays and lighting might be a tad tricky with the sun popping in and out. But it's not looking to bad.maybe just a light shower

Now that's quite clearly a call to the West Country's leading weather expert. Cornwall's very own weather witch, Mr. Paul Aircraft of sunny Stithians. That's if you're out there chief, let me know you're out there! Are you out there?

Hi Guys through work I am likely to be around CU Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning both for fairly quick visits. Is the viewing area likely to be busy these days and am I likely be able to park there? How much local flying will be taking place? Unfortunately my last visit was during Easter leave and this time would love to catch up with some long needed Merlins and Seakings.
thanks
Rob

The viewing gallery seemed busy when i passed this afternoon, but probably room to park(i didn't linger there). Business as usual for the camp, with all the usual suspects active, visiting Lynxes seem to stop by on an almost daily basis also.

If by Land's End you mean the aerodrome, be aware that it's been closed for development and you may not see any aircraft, Isles of Scilly flights operating from Newquay.
However,by the most up-to-date news i have (from last week),it is scheduled to reopen tomorrow.
