Thanks for the info on Lands End, I had no idea about the runway works, but then again I wasn't coming to Cornwall tomorrow until 2 this afternoon! Visiting Lands End will mean work has paid for me to visit every airfield/mil base in the south of England and Wales, not that they know anything about it!

I caught the Squirrel too, but the light wasn't great as I was at the viewing enclosure.

Also, just as I arrived about 15:40, there was a flypast of two Merlins, three Sea Kings and four Hawks. I assume this was a practice for Thursday.

Sounds about right from what I managed to hear on the scanner while all the helicopters were still running in the background :lol:
