Duxford Newbie

Hi all,

Done Fairford depature day and Farnborough on Enthusiats day so far, considering Duxford on 8 or 9 September. Probably 9th as I haven't seen the Red Arrows display this year (they hadn't validated for Friday due to weather).

I've been to Duxford, but not on a show day. What time do I need to be there, what is parking like, best locations for photography, food, drink, etc.....

I understand entry to the museum is included, so want a look around as it is a few years since I last went, what time do I need to be out of the museum?

It's my first Duxford this year (for a show).

Museum is brilliant - wide lens though if you have one ......

Hi Viv. If you wish to be right at the front, on the fence, best to arrive about 7.45.

Didn't have to arrive that early last year during the September show on Sunday anyway

I'm planning on going both Sat & Sun (would like to see the Hawk & the Reds - they're on separate days.

Probably a mid-morning on the Sat, but an early one is no problem for the Sunday
