One thing I never thought to ask when booking tickets.

Does the free shuttle bus from Cambridge train station and back run for the Air Festival? Only ever known about it for Legends.

I have just booked tickets to attend this ,my first Duxford airshow. I am wondering what time I need to get there for ( I am traveling from Bicester by car ) and what time the flying display starts on 25th May.

Thanks

Aim to be at Duxford for 8/9 at the latest, avoid the risk of hitting the traffic.

Flying starts at 1.30pm. :thumb:

Judging from my experience at the Battle of Britain air show last year, the planning / logistics side of the air show is very poor. Massive queues and not enough shuttle buses from the park and rides, the stewards weren’t exactly the most helpful and seemed a bit clueless as to which buses were going to which car parks on the return journey. That was with us arriving at the park and ride car park at 9am, it then took us until approx 11.45 to actually get into the air show (we was waiting for over an hour for a bus to turn up). However, once inside the air show was fantastic.

Take cash as last year was only one cash machine and took forever to dispense money as none of the food stalls takes cards

Couple of quick questions regarding the show.

1. Does the standard ticket including admission to IWM or do you have to pay extra ?.
2. Where is the display line and display centre located. I have tried looking for a map online and can not find one.

thanks
