Not happened for a few years now Liberty which is a shame because that was a good one for me.
I think the last couple were affected by bad weather, so possibly a reason for Duxford not to hold it anymore, but not sure.

I was under the impression that the October show had morphed into the September show and that the October show is now a thing of the past.

Getting to expensive to mount a one day show so May show became two day's and October binned.

The day was added to the May Airshow which then gives 3 2-day air shows a year. I think that the traders started to drop off and ask for reduced prices due to the possible impact of a bad weather day on a single day show, and that coupled with the full or no turn out weather dependent was the death knell. The chances of at least 1 decent day on a 2 day show are better hence that choice was made. A shame as it was the best show of the year for me for the atmosphere. Sadly these shows do cost and any lack of show by punters or traders has a direct impact despite what some of freeloaders on the South side would have you believe.
