I presume parking tomorrow is standard show type parking in the fields by the Officers mess?
Looking forward to what should be a great sight and sound tomorrow

I'm just going tomorrow, looked the better day of the 2 in terms of flying
Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
I'm aiming to head down to Beachy Head on Wednesday. I'm seeing conflicting weather reports for the day, what website is best as a rule and will there be a way of checking on the day if the weather is marginal if they are going to fly?
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

1840L 12 plus Daks up for a formation practice north west of Duxford. Just streamed over the house in 3-ship vics. What a sight!

Driving home on the A505 out of Royston at 18.25 and saw the stream of Daks heading out for the practice. There also appeared to be a fighter escort. Lost count of how many were in the stream.
11 have just returned, flying over the house at 500ft in Vics of 3 plus 2 stragglers, breaking to land. What a sight

Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
Thanks for that Mark, do we have a list of the 24 DC-3s at Caen, or are they the same aircraft that you have listed?

Duxford is advance tickets only. Purchase on line and print at home, or keep a PDF on your smart phone. Usually available until midnight the day before, so you’ve got 4 ands half hours to get them for tomorrow
Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
Thanks Mark, your post seems to suggest that there's 24 at both airfields, thanks for confirming.Mark_Aviation wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 6:14 pmIt’ll be the same list. The only differences are ZA947 is exclusive to Duxford and PH-PBA is exclusive to Caen.
