Went for the first time last year, already got my ticket for this year, :D
We seemed to be parked outside the base next to a campsite last year. After a long walk to the crowdline I was surprised to see cars parking next to me.
Am I allowed to park inside the base or were these special ticket holders....

The Rivet Joint has been removed from the lineup - it's a shame, but it seems it was listed in error originally!

If the RJ is indeed 'active' at the time of the airshow, then it is highly likely that it will be out of the country on detatchment - I can't see it being called back to the UK for a station flypast somewhow. I might be wrong through!

I seem to recall that the MoD and RAF stated when it was delivered that they will not commence using our RC till Autumn 2014. So as the USAF has 17 already I assume we will continue to use their airframes?

Great news today with the RJ :thumb:

Was it not also stated that 664 would be going to Boscombe prior to service entry? If so, there is still no chance of a few flypasts at the show, at least? Maybe a 'wait and see'!

BTW, isn't the correct designation an RC-135K?

I've seen it universally reported as an RC-135V/W

The 494FS crew at Duxford stated they would be at Waddington - I assume complete with F-15E (unlike at Duxford)

To my understanding it will just be a stall, No jets are allocated

Seems a bit daft to be honest sending a stall and no aircraft, remember 2012 when the Vulcan cancelled and the Trust still sent the tent/ marquee/ stall thingy...

Somewhat cheaper to send a Transit van and a couple of guys than it is to send a pair of F-15s, a Transit van and 6+ guys.
