Yes mate, open Thursday and Friday :thumb:

Mind you i don't really think there is a full 2 days worth of arrivals to turn in :pop:

How about Monday for the departures?

Dunk,

The WAVE won't be open, but the park and view on base will be.

See John's posts on the following thread.

'I have spoken to the airshow director today and due to health and safety and being within the safety area for displays, i shall not be able to open for the arrivals or departure days.'

The park and view is marked on the following map link.

If anyone is wondering why the Park and View is not advertised on the RAF Waddington Airshow website? Normally by this time a webpage is set up to advertise it.

http://www.waddingtonairshow.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

See reply from 'SilentFlight'

http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=34217" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

'Its all to do with a legal issue, with regards to advertising the event. In theory it becomes a public airshow, which has implications for validating unseen displays. In future it will change in the way the viewing area operates and will most likely go to pre registration and invitation'

Great to hear, that suits me just fine as everything has virtually departed by about 3pm. Makes it handy for getting home before the rush hour. :thumb:

I see elsewhere that there will be no more additions to the flying programme as there is already 7 hours of flying displays in place. Looking at the listings, where are the 7 hours come from?! At the minute I'd rather have my 3 hours constant, top quality at Flying Legends than 7 hours of padding....

Let's hope it's wrong as a damp Waddo would about put the tin lid on it

I am surprised there is no mention of her "Rear of the Year" :ninja: to bull it up some more, at least she will be there heading up a good event and worthwhile cause... :clap:

As a Maths guru, perhaps she could draw up some charts documenting aircraft participation trends at the show over the past 10 years. That would be an interesting exhibition. :thumb:

What is that in the top right hand corner of the map? Is it watermark or has Waddington been visited by creatures of a higher intelligence? And I don't mean Liam Fox! :D
